A week before Janet’s wedding she messaged me frantic that the forecast said it was going to rain on her wedding day. She and Ray had planned for photos at the beautifully minimalist Aga Khan museum and an outdoor ceremony at Paradise Banquet Hall and as the day got closer, the forecast didn’t change. On the day of, the rain held out long enough so we had dry weather until the middle of the reception. It was one of those days where many things go wrong, but in the end everything ended up working out perfectly. Every detail from the gorgeous flowers from Parkette Florals to the beautifully handmade macarons (by her bridesmaid Lydia!), was incredible and the fact that I got to watch and take part in the marriage of two friends made the day that much more perfect.
